Stoicism: A Healthy and Happy Life Starts With Healthy Mind

The reason Stoicism is increasingly being called upon or regarded as a path of living today is because the world we live in has changed radically that it is so different from the past century. We simply cannot adopt the ways and traditions of the 20th century in the 21st century.

People are exploding, having mental breakdowns and collapsing under severe depressions. And while there seeking consolation and solace with drugs, alcohol and wild sex.

Those while gives temporary escape from pain in the long run are very destructive.

Stoicism is our origin, our background and our roots.

Every human being has personal issues that affects him or her. Stoicism help people to understand the realities of this world and cope with them in the most effective manner.

Stoicism is philosophy applied to everyday living. The word philosophy means knowledge. Stoicism philosophy is knowledge that is reduced to personal practice. It is wisdom for living.

The world does not do anything, good or bad, to you; it is how you see the world, how you think about the world.

“Don’t seek for everything to happen as you wish it would, but rather wish that everything happens as it actually will—then your life will flow well.” — EPICTETUS
